Celtx had this cool thing in their script analysis where it gave you a percentage of how the films broke down action beats to dialogue.
In writing scripts and analysing other scripts I’ve noticed that scripts tend to break down 60:40
If the script is more plot focused it tends to be 60% action to 40% dialogue and vice versa if it’s a more character focused script.
